 Charoite Pendant2-1/2" x 1-5/8" x 5/16"Only the unique and complex mineralogical composition of Charoite can account for this gem quality example. The diagonal bands are highly chatoyant, changing from pale lavender to deep purple as light passes across the stone. The lapis blue lines across the bottom of the stone are highly unusual and are crystaline veins of an unidentified mineral, and the small black area at lower left shows a continuation of the distinctice crystaline structure of the Charoite. We mounted this piece in a simple cove shaped, open back bezel so that there would be nothing to distract from the exceptional quality of the stone. Our Price: $500.00 |
