Chrysocolla
Chrysocolla (Cu2H2Si2O5(OH)4) is a copper silicate hydroxide, and is commonly found with malachite and azurite. Chrysocolla intergrown with turquoise and malachite from Israel is called Eilat stone. Chrysocolla forms as a decomposition product of copper minerals, especially in arid regions. Localities include England, Israel, Mexico, Australia, and New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah.

Its name is derived from the Greek chrysos, "gold," and kolla, "glue," in reference to a similar-looking material that was used in soldering gold. It was first described by Greek philosopher Theophrastus in 315 BC.
